Arvind SmartSpaces to develop 92-acre township in MMR

Arvind SmartSpaces Plots Khopoli, a prominent real estate developer based in Ahmedabad, has recently made significant strides in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) by announcing a new project that involves the development of a 92-acre villa township. This initiative is expected to generate an estimated revenue potential of ₹1,500 crore. The company has entered into a joint development agreement with Sach Developers for this project, which is strategically located near Khopoli, approximately two hours from Mumbai.

The township is envisioned to include various amenities such as a golf course and a large clubhouse, catering to the growing demand for horizontal developments in the region. This move aligns with the broader trend of increasing interest in plotted and villa projects within MMR, particularly as infrastructure improvements—like the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport and other critical connectivity projects—are set to enhance accessibility and reduce travel times.

In addition to this major project, Arvind SmartSpaces is also planning to engage in housing society redevelopment projects within Mumbai’s western suburbs by the end of the current financial year. The company’s focus remains on mid-segment housing priced between ₹25,000 to ₹50,000 per square foot. This strategic approach aims to capitalize on emerging opportunities in both MMR and other target markets such as Ahmedabad and Bengaluru.

Arvind SmartSpaces’ recent activities highlight its commitment to expanding its footprint in key urban areas while responding to market demands for diverse residential options.
